When the children grew up and left the nest, this professional couple decided it was time for the architecturally designed house and dated-garden to have a makeover.

My first view of the garden vista to the golf course behind, gave me all the inspiration I needed and I started with broad grassed steps and retaining wall level with their lawn. This gave the illusion of the back lawn blending with the golf course and a ‘borrowed vista’ gave the wow factor for this garden.

The beautiful garden view to a golf course was my inspiration for this garden. The landscape concept included wide grass steps and a low retaining wall to give the illusion of the back lawn as one with the golf course. A ‘borrowed vista’ and colour from the established copper beech feature tree gives wow factor to this classic garden.
