On a windswept hill over the city, this lovely villa had the interior re-vamped, and the owners turned to me redesign the outdoor areas.
Keeping with the villa theme, and my client’s love of roses and an English look, I designed the front fence and gate arch, sweeping curved flagstone steps and established separate ‘rooms’ to create a more intimate feel to the garden.
My landscape concept divided the property into garden rooms for a more intimate feel to this exposed corner section. Inspired by the villa’s architecture, I created a new design for the front fence and gate arch. A sweeping curved path leads you to the front door with a stylish flagstone path and steps. Plantings of camelia, roses, shrubs and a feature box hedge clipped into a zig-zag pattern give the garden wow factor.
